Infographic: Anderson Silva was dominated by Chris Weidman before the injury

The long-awaited rematch between Chris Weidman e Anderson Silva at UFC 168, an event held last Saturday (28), in Las Vegas, it ended in a way that no one expected. After trying to kick the American's inside leg, the Brazilian athlete ended up breaking his leg due to the champion's defense. If the injury did not occur, the result of the fight was unpredictable, despite Weidman dominating the fight until the moment of the injury.

According to the numbers from the duel, Weidman landed more blows, 34 against 32. The difference becomes more evident when compared with significant blows: 20 to 8.

On the other hand, despite the injury shortly after the first minute, it was Anderson who took the initiative in the second round. The Spider attempted eight blows, two of which were significant, while Chris only hit the former champion once in a forceful way.
