Responsible for loss of R$1,5 million in rapper's bet on UFC 272, Masvidal promises dinner to the artist

Defeated by Colby covington No. UFC 272, Jorge masvidal he was at the center of a 'financial hole' in rapper Drake's pocket and is looking for a way to redeem himself. On social media, the owner of the Ultimate 'BMF' belt sent a message to the musician.

Rapper Drake makes a bold bet, but suffers a million-dollar loss with Masvidal's defeat at UFC 272

“Next time I’m in Miami, dinner is on me, Drake,” Masvidal wrote on his Twitter account.

Confident in Jorge's victory over his former best friend, the musician hoped to win just under three times the amount he bet. If the 'pupil' were to surpass Covington, the artist could earn US$701 thousand (approximately R$3,5 million).

In the confrontation, however, Drake had no reason to smile. A victim of Colby's high-level wrestling, Masvidal had little chance of winning in a duel fought over five rounds.

Controlled and with his striking nullified, the owner of the 'BMF' belt saw his former friend 'remain'. After 25 minutes, Covington was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
