The merciless knockout suffered by Dan Hooker against arnold allen, was another tough defeat in the recent record of the former top 10 lightweight (up to 70,3kg). Asked at the press conference UFC London regarding a possible retirement or change of category for 'The Hangman', Ultimate president Dana White preferred not to comment on the matter and left the decision in the hands of the New Zealander.

“That (decision on which division he will play in) is up to him. He came and performed tonight. He cut weight, came in and went to war with a guy who is undefeated in this division, so he can do whatever he wants,” said Dana White.
A former member of the elite lightweight division, Hooker decided to change categories after three defeats in four fights. The setbacks were for Dustin poirier, Michael chandler e Islam makhachev and just one victory, over Nasrat Haqparast. In his debut in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the New Zealander became easy prey and was knocked out by the Englishman arnold allen. ‘The Hangman’ has a record of 21 positive results and 12 negative results in professional MMA.
