After just over three years, the return of the Ultimate Octagon to London was worth the long wait for British fans. After the event that took place last Saturday (19), UFC president Dana White's excitement was such that he promised to return to 'Land of the Queen' in 2022 and with a title fight leading the card.

The box office gross was US$4,5 million, the biggest box office in the history of the O2 Arena. This was the biggest fight night of all time. It could not have been better. It was unbelievable. I don’t even know what to say,” said Dana.
The agent revealed that he tried to get married Kamaru Usman x Leon edwards for last Saturday's event, however, the champion's hand injury delayed his plans. However, the company's president promised to take a title fight to one of the next cards in the United Kingdom.
“The only thing that would have made tonight even better would have been if (Kamaru) Usman and Leon (Edwards) were the main event and (Tom) Aspinall was the co-main. I wanted to do this. I wanted tonight's card to be a title fight. I was going to change things, try to make things happen, but Usman's hand wasn't ready. I'm going to have a pay-per-view here. I'll do it. I'm going to bring a title fight here”, concluded the 'big boss'.
Ultimate's return to London was headlined by a fight between local prospect Tom aspinall and the Russian veteran Alexander Volkov. The English heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) took no notice of the 'giant' and submitted him with a kimura in the first round.
