As the years pass, social networks increasingly become a tool with great capacity to shape mass thinking and financial return. The artifice, however, works as a two-way street, and can cause a positive or negative impact, as is the case with digital influencer Andrew Tate. A former kickboxing fighter, the 'personality' ended up banned from the main platforms for generating controversial content that violates the policies of large companies.
With a name on the rise in the most talked about subjects on 'Google', Tate, 35 years old, has problems with justice and, for generating publications that go against the maintenance of social well-being, he ended up banned from networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram e TikTok. In the last one, the fighter has accumulated more than 11 billion views.
Andrew's fame led to the athlete being one of those invited to compete in the British version of the reality show. Big Brotherr, in 2016. The North American, however, was not eliminated by voting, as happens in common cases, but rather after a video went viral in which he allegedly attacked a woman. The situation led to the expulsion of the participant.
The controversies don't stop there. With millions of followers on his social networks spread around the world, Tate made his stay on the platforms unsustainable by sharing models of thoughts that outrage modern society. Among the content already available, the fighter even incited racist, homophobic and misogynistic concepts.
Today, when you search for the name 'Andrew Tate' on the aforementioned platforms, what you find are supporter profiles, with old content. The influencer currently does not have his own profile, having lost, with the exclusions, his high capacity for engagement, even if negative.
With so much confusion, Tate chose to move to Romania, but he still had problems. In April 2022, the former fighter had his residence inspected by police officers. The operation took place due to accusations that Andrew was holding a 21-year-old woman in prison. With the case still ongoing, there are also allegations of rape and human trafficking.
