VIDEO: Unreleased footage shows Masvidal arrested after assault on Covington

Nine months after the fight involving Jorge masvidal e Colby covington in a restaurant in Miami (USA), the channel 'Real World Police' showed never-before-seen images of the arrest of 'Jesus das Ruas'. Accused of attacking his rival days after the defeat he suffered in UFC 272, the welterweight (up to 77,1kg.) had part of his interrogation and driving in a police vehicle publicized. The case resulted in legal proceedings.

The confusion involving Jorge and Covington happened days after 'Caos' victory in the main fight of the UFC 272. After overcoming his former friend, the former interim welterweight champion would have gone too far, in the view of 'Jesus das Ruas', in his provocations.

The confrontation outside the octagon resulted in bruises on Colby's face, including an injury to his tooth. After the incident, Masvidal was prosecuted, accused of multiple crimes and is awaiting trial in freedom. The next hearing date for the ongoing case is set for February 27.
