Marlon Moraes complains of injury, loses by knockout in PFL 1 2023 and remains without a win in the organization

Hired by PFL in 2022, Marlon moraes continues without winning in the organization. Featured in the show that opened the regular season, held this Saturday (1), in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian faced Brendan Loughane, champion of the featherweight tournament (up to 65,7kg.) the previous year. Victim of calf kicks in the first round, the Friborg native suffered an injury in the second stage, being defeated by a technical knockout.

With the defeat, Marlon extends the bad moment in his career. The new stumble makes the Brazilian accumulate six consecutive setbacks.

Executioner of Moraes, Loughnane has plenty of reasons to celebrate. In addition to overcoming the Tupiniquim, the fighter scored five points in the championship and opened up an advantage to advance to the next phase.

Former UFC standout, Marlon will move up the ladder under pressure for a positive result in the next challenge. The athlete needs to score points to continue with the dream of winning the title in the company.
