An unusual event drew attention in the second fight on the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 75, this Saturday (17). Valid for the rooster division (up to 61,2kg), the duel between Dan Argueta e Ronnie Lawrence ended without result due to a serious error made by referee Keith Peterson.
Everything happened within the first round of the duel. After an overwhelming start, Dan Argueta managed to fit a tight guillotine in Ronnie Lawrence. With the blow in place, the American Top Team athlete left his hand flat and raised, but, before he gave the three taps, he saw Keith Peterson intervene in the action and declare the fight over.

The referee's action generated an immediate protest from Ronnie Lawrence, who claimed he was conscious and had not crashed. After checking the video of what happened, referee Keith Peterson met briefly with some members of the Athletic Commission and decided that the fight would be without result.

Modestas Bukauskas beats Zac Pauga in a busy fight at the opening of the card
In the fight responsible for opening the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 75, valid for the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg), Modest Bukauskas derrotou Zac Pauga in the unanimous decision of the judges. The two fought a busy and very balanced fight, but the Lithuanian came out on top at the end of the three rounds.
As a result, Modest Bukauskas achieves the fourth consecutive victory in his career and the second since returning to Ultimate at the beginning of the year.
On the other side, the runner-up of the last season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' Zac Pauga does not continue the triumph over Jordan wright in February and suffered his second defeat in three fights at Ultiamte.
