Brazilian bet on the featherweight (up to 65,7kg) of Ultimate, Gabriel Mosquitinho lived a real battle UFC Jacksonville, but did not leave the Octagon with victory. The confrontation began with Mosquitinho taking the initiative with a low kick, an action responded in kind by his opponent. In the first few seconds, Gabriel rocked his opponent with a cross. Onama accepted the frank confrontation, but, afterwards, the Brazilian looked for a takedown and ended up falling on the bottom. After just over a minute, Mosquitinho managed to stay on his feet and the fight became intense again, with an exchange of blows in the center of the octagon. Halfway through the round, David struck again with a straight shot from the Tupiniquim. Sensing the good moment, the Tupiniquim went up and threatened an armbar. Onama showed his quality by defending the position. The duel was busy, with both seeking the outcome in the fast lane. Almost in the final minute, David managed to escape a triangle and the fight was fought again on the feet. Close to the end of the stage, Gabriel managed a nice fall, but Onama got up and the timer reset.
In the second round, Mosquitinho rocked his opponent in the opening seconds with a round punch. Afterwards, the Brazilian shortened and reached the back of his opponent, who fell. Gabriel started looking for the rear naked choke, while David protected himself as best he could. With just over a minute left, Onama managed to reverse the position and started attacking with ground and pound. Halfway through the stage, Mosquitinho managed to stay on his feet and the fighters once again exchanged attacks in the center of the Octagon. In the final minute, David surprised the Brazilian with a combination of punches. Finally, an upper cut out the Tupiniquim, who collapsed.
