Back on the winning track after gala performance against Sergey Spivak No. UFC Paris, Cyryl Gane has a message for MMA fans. Moments after brutalizing the Moldovan in the main fight, the Frenchman asked the fans for a vote of confidence and hopes to have erased the bad impression made in the challenge against Jon Jones. At the beginning of the season, the athlete ended up beating in a flash in a match valid for the unification of the heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg).

“I wanted to have a good performance again. I wanted a confrontation like that. This proves that I am still here,” Gane said.

No UFC Paris, Ciryl returned to the Octagon about six months after the stumble against Jones, in what marked the legend's heavyweight debut. Facing Spivak, the Frenchman made no mistakes and made the commitment against the Moldovan who was experiencing a clear rise in the category seem easy.

In addition to the triumph and the performance bonus (around R$247 thousand) achieved, Gane defended second place in the ranking. The former interim champion then approaches a new fight for the group title.
