Last Saturday (2), Ciryl Gane defeated Sergey Spivak in the main fight of UFC Paris under the watchful eyes of Tom aspinall, who was present at the Accor Arena, but saw the Frenchman dodge questions about a potential confrontation between them.
In an interview with 'The Mac Life' channel on YouTube, Aspinall revealed that he planned to go up to the Octagon to face Gane and spoke about the Frenchman's apparent lack of interest in the duel.

“I'm not a bully. If he doesn't want to fight, I won't try to force him. I wanted to enter the octagon and face him, but the UFC didn't want me to enter. If he wants the fight, he's here. If he doesn't want to, we'll see. I know I'm a bad match for him. I think stylistically it’s a good matchup for me, but if he doesn’t want it, I understand,” Aspinall said.
Without Cyryl Gane and thinking about a scenario in which Jon Jones e Stipe Miocic retire after the title fight in November, Tom aspinall already has a new target in mind: Sergei Pavlovich, first placed in the category ranking.
"Without Jon Jones e Stipe Miocic, I only have one guy left, the great Russian friend that nobody wants. I'm happy to take this fight. I would be more than happy to face Sergei Pavlovich. I should have faced him twice before, but the fights didn't happen for some reason, so let's go. I’m happy to face anyone who brings me closer to the title,” he concluded.
