After two big events with title fights in the middleweight (up to 83,9kg) and flyweight (up to 56,7kg), Ultimate returns to the Apex for the UFC Las Vegas 79, led by the duel between lightweights (up to 70,3kg) Raphael Fiziev e Mateusz gamrot. In total, 11 fights are scheduled for the show.

Sixth place in the lightweight rankings, Raphael Fiziev seeks to recover from the defeat suffered in his last fight, against Justin gaethje, in March this year. On the other side, the Polish Mateusz gamrot, owner of seventh place, is trying for the second consecutive victory in the organization to get even closer to the top 5 in the category.

UFC Las Vegas 79 features three Brazilians

Among the 11 fights in UFC Las Vegas 79, three have Brazilian representatives. Straw weight (up to 52,1kg) Marina Rodriguez and featherweight (up to 65,7kg) Ricardo Carcacinha take action on the main card, facing, respectively Michelle Waterson-Gomez and Charles Jourdain.

Opening the preliminary card, Tamires 'Tratora' Vidal faces newcomer Montserrat Rendon in a duel valid for the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg).
