Inserted in the most controversial outcome of the UFC 294, Johnny Walker came public and criticized the 'no contest' that occurred in the fight against Magomed Ankalaev. Directly affected by his opponent's infraction in the first round, the Brazilian criticized the referee's decision and demanded compliance with the rule.
“Would I follow the rule if there was no punishment? If he can do illegal things to gain an advantage, I can do the same and have a no contest in the next fight. It's okay to throw low kicks and throw punches to the back of the head. If you kill someone, that's fine. It's just a 'no contest',” Walker wrote on his Facebook profile. X, old Twitter.

No UFC 294, Johnny stepped into the octagon for his biggest challenge as a professional in MMA. In a great phase in the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg.), the Brazilian faced off against the number two in the rankings in a confrontation that could guarantee the winner a fight for the title.
With the 'no contest', the athletes had their dream of winning postponed. Even with Dana White's promise to resolve the episode, both live in uncertainty about the future.
Why should I follow a rule that has no punishment if I break it? If he can do illegal things to take advantage. Then I can too & get a NC next time. so we are ok to kick balls ⚽️ and punch behind neck and spine too, if you kill somebody, don't worry. It's just no contest
