the week of UFC 295 started special for Alex Poatán, who competes for the light heavyweight belt against Jiri Prochazka in the main fight of next Saturday’s event (11). This is because the Brazilian's name was immortalized in the GLORY Kickboxing Hall of Fame, the largest striking organization in the world.
Alex Poatán He was the only simultaneous champion of two GLORY categories, in the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, and joins Semmy Schilt and Joe Valtellini as the only three members of the event's Hall of Fame. In a press release, Scott Rudmann, co-founder and vice-president of the organization spoke about the Brazilian.

Kickboxing has a special place in my heart and writing history to become the first and only double kickboxing world champion is an unforgettable memory”, declared the Brazilian.
Alex Poatán returns to the Ultimate octagon this Saturday (11), when he faces Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) in the main fight of UFC 295, at Madison Square Garden, in New York, in the United States.
