“Thanks, Scott. I am very happy to be this year's recipient of the GLORY Hall of Fame. My time at GLORY was an important part of growing as a martial artist and also as a person outside of the ring. GLORY has been my home for many years and being third in the Hall of Fame means a lot to me. During the eight years of fighting for GLORY, GLORY became a family. Kickboxing has a special place in my heart and writing history to become the first and only double kickboxing world champion is an unforgettable memory”, declared the Brazilian.
Alex Poatán returns to the Ultimate octagon this Saturday (11), when he faces Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) in the main fight of UFC 295, at Madison Square Garden, in New York, in the United States.
