Luana Santos dominates Switzerland, wins by decision and remains undefeated in the UFC

Luana Santos took another important step in his career. The Brazilian, who did not make weight for the fight against Stephanie Egger, on the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 83, this Saturday (9/12), was unfazed by the penalty and beat the Swiss by unanimous decision of the judges (30-27, 29-28 and 29-28).

This was Luana's fourth consecutive victory in MMA, and her second in the UFC. She debuted in the organization in August this year, when she knocked out Juliana Miller in the first round. At 23 years old, she is one of the promises of the women's bantamweight division.

The fight was a duel between judokas, but Luana got the better of the striking. She used her punches and kicks well, and avoided Egger's takedown attempts. In the first round, she dominated the action and even rocked her opponent with a straight right. In the second, she kept the pace and pressed the Swiss against the fence, applying knees and elbows.

In the third and final round, Luana managed a good takedown and was on top on the ground, but Egger recovered and tried an armbar. The Brazilian defended well and escaped the submission. In the final seconds, she landed a few more blows on her rival's face, sealing her victory.

O UFC Las Vegas 83 started with a duel between two Brazilians on the card. Multiple world jiu-jitsu champion, Talita Alencar He had a difficult life, but he overcame it. Rayanne dos Santos in a busy fight valid for the strawweight division (up to 52,1kg.). The duel was decided by points and by division of scores.

With the result, Talita achieved the fifth victory in her career and maintained her unbeaten record. She was hired after a draw on the Contender Series.

Rayanne, who was also making her debut, had 14 positive results and seven negative results.
