Sean Strickland reacts to Colby Covington's challenge and starts 'war of controversial kings'

Caused by Colby covington and challenged for a future confrontation, Sean Strickland didn't leave the 'bad boy' no reply. Upon learning of 'Caos' intentions for the future, the middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) wasted no time and countered his rival in style.

“The only thing Colby knows how to do is call the police for help. I never had respect for him. You ran away from (Fabrício) Werdum and called the police on Jorge (Masvidal) after being punched in the mouth”, wrote Strickland, responding to a publication from 'MMA fighting'.

At the top of the middleweight division since the historic victory over Israel adesanya, Sean has a set date and opponent for his next challenge. At the UFC 297, in January, the North American faces Dricus Du Plessis and tries to be successful in his first title defense.

Criticized by Strickland, Covington has a decisive commitment over the weekend. This Saturday (16), 'Chaos' faces Leon edwards for the welterweight belt (up to 77,1kg.). The clash marks the fighter's third attempt to take over the group's throne.
