Confident of victory over the welterweight champion (up to 77,1kg.) Leon edwards, Colby covington has a demand on Dana White. In an interview with reporter Chisanga Malata, the challenger asked that protocol be broken and that Donald Trump, former president of the United States, be responsible for buckling the belt. Most of the time, the Ultimate 'boss' is responsible for the action.
“I love Dana. He is the biggest promoter in all of sports, but I want to politely ask him to 'get out of the picture'. Let my favorite person in the world, Mr. Donald Trump, put the belt on me. Next, I’m going to put the belt on him (Trump), because he’s the people’s champion,” declared Covington.

A loyal supporter of the former president of the United States, Colby revealed, earlier this week, that Donald is expected in the audience at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The politician will closely follow the clash that will determine the UFC welterweight champion.
To make his dream come true, Covington will have to make history and end a streak of 12 unbeaten matches for the champion. Title holder, Leon hasn't known what it's like to lose since 2015, when he was beaten by Kamaru Usman.
