The time has come for SUPER FIGHTS predictions. This week, our team points out their favorites for UFC 296, an event that ends the 2023 Ultimate season. The show will feature two title fights, with another 10 scheduled clashes. The Champions Alexandre pantoja e Leon edwards try to defend their thrones.
Protagonist in the event, Leon edwards seeks to expand his legacy at welterweight (up to 77,1kg.). After dethroning Kamaru Usman, the Englishman seeks the second defense of his belt against the controversial Colby covington.

In the co-main fight, Alexandre pantoja you will have an old acquaintance ahead of you. Leader of the flyweights (up to 56,7kg.), the Brazilian faces Brandon royval, rival beaten by Tupiniquim in 2021.
Also in the second half of the event, Stephen Thompson there will be a real quarry ahead. Twice challenging for the welterweight belt, the veteran faces off against Shavkat Rakhmonov, and fight for position in the top 5 of the group.
Lightweight legend (up to 70,3kg.) in MMA, Tony Ferguson seeks to end a drama in its recent retrospect. Coming from six consecutive defeats, the former interim champion faces Paddy Pimblett.
On the preliminary card, Ultimate promotes a challenge between highlights in the women's bantamweight (up to 61,2kg). Karol Rosa, number nine in the category, faces Irene aldana, number five.

Palpites SUPER FIGHTS scoring system
The guesses will be made by the team at SUPER FIGHTS. At the end of the 2023 season, whoever obtains the most points will be the team's 'best bettor'.
The scoring system will be simple. Whoever gets the winner right gets a point. Whoever 'guarantees the way in which the outcome happens, earns three points and, if the bettor 'predicts' the positive result exactly (example: knockout in R1, submission in R3, decision by points), the guesser is awarded with five points.
