One of those responsible for the success of Khabib Nurmagomedov in MMA, Javier Mendez has advice for Tony Ferguson. In line with the dramatic scenario of the North American, who has suffered seven consecutive defeats in the UFC, the coach indicated the next step for the ‘Bicho Papão’. The AKA coach (American kickboxing Academy) believes in ‘survival’ for martial arts veterans.

“Firstly, we must know that the UFC will release him in the current scenario. This could be an advantage for him (Ferguson). He's still a needle moving, very good. Sells well. The fact that 'Bare Knuckle' exists (boxing without gloves) means that Tony will still have job offers where he will be paid a lot. People want to watch. Tony needs to look at himself and look for new things”, said Mendez, in an excerpt published by ‘MMA Junkie'.

With the stumble, Tony equaled a negative record in UFC history. Beside B.J. Penn, the former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg.) is the owner of the longest losing streak in the company.
