Without a contract with Ultimate since the end of 2022, Nate diaz appears willing to return to the organization. On his social networks, the 38-year-old veteran asked to be present at the UFC 300, confirmed for April 13th, and which promises to be a milestone in the history of MMA. In the publication, the 'bad boy’ he indicated Conor McGregor as an opponent.
“I should have participated in the main fight of UFC 200 (in 2016). Star in the UFC 300 it would be even better”, wrote Diaz, in his profile on X, old Twitter.

A professional in MMA since 2004, Diaz has not competed in the sport since his triumph against Tony Ferguson in 2022. The challenge against ‘Bicho Papão’ marked the end of his contract with the UFC.
After the victory, Nate looked for new opportunities. Challenged by Jake Paul for a boxing challenge, the ‘bad boy’ accepted the proposal, but ended up being overtaken by the digital influencer in a commitment made last season.
Even with Diaz's intention to return to Ultimate, Dana White and his team have not confirmed the return of one of its greatest popularity phenomena. So far, the main fight of the UFC 300 remains a great unknown.
