The Bellator champion and legend of MMA, Chris Cyborg, once again showed his strength and skill in professional boxing. Last Friday (19/01), in Temecula, California (USA), the Brazilian faced the American Kelsey Wickstrum, in a fight valid for up to six rounds, at the WFC 163 event. However, the dispute lasted just over a minute, as she landed a powerful straight right, which took her rival to the ground, unable to continue.
It was the third victory for Chris Cyborg in boxing, the first being by knockout. The 38-year-old Curitiba native debuted in the sport in September 2022, when she defeated her compatriot Simone Silva, in an exhibition fight, at Fight Music Show, at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba. In December of the same year, she beat fellow American Gabrielle Holloway, by unanimous decision, after four rounds.
