Renan Problema leads Brazilians in super event with PFL and Bellator champions this Saturday

This Saturday (24), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, MMA will have a new chapter in its history written. After confirming the purchase of Bellator at the end of last season, the PFL promotes the long-awaited event between champions of the giant promoters in the sport. With 11 fights scheduled, the show has Renan Problem e Ryan bader as highlights on the main card.

Champion in the heavyweight tournament (up to 120,2kg.) in the 2023 PFL season, Renan Problem is back for a big challenge. At the weekend, the Brazilian measures forces with Ryan bader, who holds the division title with Bellator.

In the co-main event, Impa Kasanganay, last year's PFL light heavyweight league winner, returns to middleweight to face a Bellator icon. The Bellator middleweight champion, Johnny Eblen, faces the former UFC representative.

Champion in the PFL heavyweight tournament in 2021, Bruno Cappelozza returns to competitions about a year after his last challenge in the organization. Famous for his knockout power, the Brazilian will measure his strength with Vadim nemkov, holder of the Bellator light heavyweight title. The fight will be held in the 120,2kg division.

Former UFC star, Thiago Marreta returns for his second appointment as a PFL representative. Next up, the light heavyweight (up to 93kg) will face the iconic Yoel romero, Bellator star, who had a remarkable stint in Ultimate.

Former Bellator featherweight champion, famous for dethroning Patrick Pitbull in 2021, A. J. McKee is also featured on the main card. The North American faces Clay Collard, finalist in the lightweight tournament (up to 70,3kg) in 2023.

Two-time Olympic champion and holder of world middleweight boxing titles by the World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Council WBC), International Boxing Federation, (IBF) World Boxing Federation (WBF) and 'The Ring', Claressa shields fights his third fight in professional MMA. The legend of the 'noble art' tries to recover from his first defeat in the sport and shares the decagon with Kelsey De Santis.

Besides Renan Problem, Bruno Cappelozza e Thiago Marreta, Brazil has one more representative. The undefeated Vinicius Pereira, the 'Bat', squares off with Malik Basahel, in an amateur MMA clash.

The decagon promises to shake with the main fight of 'PFL x Bellator'. The giant' Renan Problem returns to action months after winning the million-dollar heavyweight tournament against Denis Goltsov.

Ahead of him, the Brazilian will have an old acquaintance among MMA fans. Ryan bader, former double Bellator champion, seeks to overcome his opponent and achieve glory in the 'crossover' event between the companies.

After serving a suspension for doping in the 2023 season, Bruno Cappelozza is back. The champion in the heavyweight tournament in the 2023 season has a major commitment in the 'PFL x Bellator'.

This Saturday, the Brazilian climbs the decagon to face Vadim nemkov, Bellator light heavyweight champion and pupil of the legendary Fedor Emelianenko. The challenge between fighters will be held in the 120,2kg division.

The main card will feature a clash between former UFC belt challengers. Thiago Marreta, Brazilian who came close to winning Jon Jones in 2019, he will make his second challenge since leaving Ultimate.

At the weekend, the Rio native will face the veteran Yoel romero, former middleweight standout in the company chaired by Dana White. At 46 years old, the Cuban wants to prove that he is still capable of competing at a high level.

Hired by the PFL as a big bet for 2023, Marreta ended up caught in an anti-doping test and was prevented from continuing in the light heavyweight division tournament.
