Ngannou admits trauma and reveals memory loss after suffering brutal boxing knockout

French-Cameroonian, who ended up brutally knocked out, doesn't remember the first round of the fight against the Englishman

The brutal defeat of Francis Ngannou for Anthony Joshua, on March 8th, gained a new chapter this Monday (18th). In an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”, the former MMA champion UFC revealed that he has no memory of the first round of the fight.

“I don’t remember when I came back from the stool to go to the second round. It wasn’t there anymore”, declared the fighter, who was knocked out in the second round.

The fight started with Ngannou imposing his pace, but a counter blow from Joshua knocked him down for the first time. The French-Cameroonian recovered, but in the second round, the Englishman returned with force, declaring the knockout.

The fight started with Francis imposing his pace. However, in a moment of boldness, when changing base, the French-Cameroonian exposed himself to a counter blow from Joshua, which knocked him down for the first time.

Although he recovered from the knockdown, the former UFC fighter could not resist the Englishman's momentum in the second round. With 40 seconds left, Joshua applied a new blow, followed by a devastating right which left the former UFC fighter unconscious, with his legs folded.
