Looking to gain another chance to compete for the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.), Robert whittaker agreed to star in the UFC Saudi Arabia against Khamzat Shimaev on June 22nd. Aware that the athlete is undefeated and is seen by many as a potential champion of the category, the Australian wants to test and confirm the 'real level' of his next opponent.

“I'm going to go in there with a speed advantage and a striking advantage. One of his greatest skills is being able to force grappling on his opponents and I think it will be a little more difficult to use his wrestling with me. He will go with utmost confidence. This is something very dangerous. I’m looking forward to testing this out, seeing how real the hype is,” Whittaker said in an interview with 'Mighty Cast'.
