Even with the victory over Germain de Randamie at UFC Vegas 90, the Brazilian Norm Dumont did not escape criticism from fans about his pragmatic style of fighting. However, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) from Tupiniquim said he doesn't care about the comments and that his only objective is to continue winning so he can reach his dream title fight.

“I'm going in to win. That's my biggest difference from everyone else: a high fight IQ and taking the fight to win. It doesn't matter if they like it or not. I am really sorry. I have a goal which is to get to the belt and I will win in the best way possible. Wherever I see that my opponent is at fault, that's where we take the fight”, said Norma in an interview with 'Ag.Fight'.
A new addition to the bantamweight division, Norma debuted in the new category at UFC Las Vegas 90 with a safe victory over the former champion Germain de Randamie in the unanimous decision of the judges. At 33 years old, the Brazilian fighter recorded her fourth consecutive victory in the organization and now has an MMA record of 11 victories, nine of which were by decision, and only two defeats.
