Still reflecting on his defeat in UFC 300, Jamahal hill made an analysis of the future of the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg). In an interview with the 'Middle Easy' channel on YouTube, the North American said that Magomed Ankalayev would be the worst possible rival for the champion Alex Poatán and justified his opinion based on the Russian's fighting style.

“That’s one of the reasons why I wanted to come back quickly (from the injury). I didn't want Magomed (Ankalaev) to fight Alex (Poatan) first. Magomed's posture is a problem for Pereira. He doesn't fight well against southpaws. Magomed is left-handed. Magomed can also come with a very heavy approach, as well as picking decent strikes and being able to exchange well on the feet. I would probably bet on Ankalaev (in case of a fight with Poatan),” Hill said.
Less than a week after the defeat to Poatan, 'Sweet Dreams' has already signed his next commitment to the organization. The former owner of the belt will face his compatriot Khalil rountree Jr in the co-main fight of UFC 303, which takes place on June 29, in Las Vegas (USA).
In his first defense of the light heavyweight belt, Alex Poatán knocked out Jamahal hill in the first round in the main fight of the historic UFC 300. Now, in his next commitment, the Brazilian must face Magomed Ankalayev ou Jiri Prochazka, the main candidates for the challenger position.
