In the capital of São Paulo, Anderson Silva face old rival do UFC, Chael Sonnen, in a special combat under modified rules. And to complete the 'Spaten Fight Night' card, Spider's son, Kalyl Silva, also takes to the ring to face compatriot Paulo Roberto. The information was released by MMA Fighting.
Following in his father's footsteps, Kalyl seeks to carve his own path in the world of fighting. Inspired by Anderson, he dedicates himself to boxing, seeking to improve his technique and conquer his place in the sport. “Kalyl has her father as her biggest inspiration, her biggest idol, and he is very skilled. It's in his DNA. He is very technical and disciplined. This is his second training camp with us here and we’ve noticed how quickly he’s improving,” he told MMA Fighting.
Kalyl's presence at the same event as her father makes the occasion even more special. Fighting alongside Anderson on Brazilian soil will, without a doubt, be a defining moment in the young athlete’s career. In his career, between amateur and professional, there are five fights, with four wins and one defeat.
