Even with a duel scheduled against the tough Curtis blaydes, Tom aspinall Don't forget the recent rivalry with the French Cyryl Gane. In an interview with 'The MacLife' channel, the interim heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) criticized the former owner of the post for 'forgetting' MMA to take part in the recording of a film and accused him of refusing to face him a few times.

“Maybe a little, I don’t know. It's difficult to say like that. If he's being paid well to make films, I don't know what his aspirations are. He might actually want to be an actor. This could be his thing. So he's thinking, 'F*ck this MMA stuff. I'm going to be French Arnold Schwarzenegger here. I'm going to continue with this.' Good luck to him. I have nothing against Ciryl. He had a few opportunities to fight me and he refused. That is the fact,” said Aspinall.
Current number two in the heavyweight rankings, Cyryl Gane hasn't stepped into the octagon since September 2023 when he knocked out Sergei Spivac in the second round, in the main fight of the UFC Paris.
On July 27th, at UFC 304, Tom aspinall will be one of the protagonists of UFC 304, which takes place in Manchester, England. The local idol will put his interim heavyweight belt on the line against the North American Curtis blaydes, in the co-main fight of the show.
