Shortly after the brutal defeat to Max Holloway No. UFC 300, Justin gaethje said that would remain away for around six months training, however, apparently, his return should happen faster than expected. On his social networks, 'Highlight' released a video of a light gauntlet session, which may indicate that the North American will not be away from the Octagon for long.

Featured in UFC 300, Justin fought a real battle against Max Holloway in the octagon. The athlete, however, was at a disadvantage for most of the almost five rounds played and ended up being knocked out in the final second of the fight. What's more, Gaethje ended up losing the 'BMF' belt, which awards the 'Toughest Skin in MMA'. Now, the symbolic title is in the possession of the Hawaiian star.
Current number three in the lightweight rankings, Justin gaethje is one of the most experienced athletes on the Ultimate squad and has already beaten names like Dustin poirier, Tony Ferguson, Michael chandler, Edson Barboza e Donald Cerrone. At 35 years old, 'Highlight' has an MMA record of 25 triumphs and five setbacks.
