Curtis Blaydes draws a comparison between Jones and Aspinall and points out a more difficult duel

Interim title challenger at UFC 304, Curtis blaydes drew a comparison between the two heavyweight champions (up to 120,2kg). In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the North American avoided being disrespectful towards Jon Jones, however, stated that he considers Tom aspinall a more difficult confrontation for him.

“I say Aspinall is the tougher fight just because he's younger and he's a natural heavyweight. I know Jon is the better grappler, but I don't think that's enough of a determining factor to make him tougher than Aspinall. I think Aspinall is tougher because he's a legitimate heavyweight. I think he probably hits harder too. This is all speculation, but he seems to hit harder than Jon. He also showed that he can do grappling, just not at the highest level. I find Tom more difficult. I know when Jon hears this, he's going to be like, 'He thinks I'm an easy fight.' That's not what I'm saying. Right now, Aspinall is a tougher fight than Jon Jones,” Blaydes said.

At UFC 304, which takes place on July 27th, Curtis blaydes will face forces for the second time against the now interim heavyweight champion Tom aspinall. The card will be held in the city of Manchester, England.
