“In the fight against Holm, I didn't even start doing my processes because I was hit right at the beginning and the punch left all my lower teeth loose. I 'turned off' standing up right at the beginning, so I couldn't follow my strategy. I always planned the first exchange and everything from then on would be improvised, within what I trained specifically for that opponent”, explained the former champion.

After explaining why he was unable to follow the plan drawn up for the duel against Holly holm, Ronda Rousey revealed what the strategy trained for combat was.

“For Holm, what I trained a lot on was lateral movement, to attract her to the front of the cage. When I 'turned off' standing up, I couldn't measure the distance. There's no such realization when you have a concussion. I was unable to even think coherently,” she finished.
