Charisma and ability with microphones seems to be in the Sonnen family genes. Used to being the center of attention while speaking, Chael had the spotlight stolen by his son Thero, just 8 years old, during a press conference given after an open training session held at Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo, last Tuesday (11) , to promote Spaten Fight Night, an event in which he will face Anderson Silva in a boxing match.
Summoned by one of the reporters present at the activity to give his opinion on what he expects from his father's fight against Anderson Silva, Thero Sonnen showed a lot of sincerity.

“So, in my opinion, I think he (Anderson Silva) is faster”, replied the child.
After some insistence, Thero Sonnen ended up stating that his father has the ability to win Anderson Silva. When asked by Chael about how the possible victory would happen, the boy gave yet another show of sincerity.
"Yes. Using your strength. Oops, oops, cheating,” she corrected.
The response drew laughter from reporters and fans present at the scene. Afterwards, Thero gave yet another demonstration that he is ready to follow in Chael's footsteps and fired a provocation at Jorge masvidal, who should be Sonnen's next opponent after the fight against Anderson Silva.
“I could beat him wearing a flip-flop,” he concluded.
