The Brazilian Mayra Sheetara lived a real nightmare UFC 303. Macy Chaiasson's opponent at this Saturday's event (29), held in Las Vegas (USA), the Minas Gerais native suffered a frightening cut after receiving a harsh elbow from her opponent in the second round. After medical evaluation, the team decided to interrupt the confrontation, determining the technical knockout in favor of the North American.
After the strike, Sheetara did not hide her frustration. The Brazilian now suffers the second setback in a row.

Victorious in the clash, Chiasson has plenty of reasons to celebrate. Currently seventh in the rankings, the North American will take her place in the top 5 of the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg).
Bitter defeat
The fight began with Sheetara closing the distance and surrounding her opponent in the octagon. Chiasson tried to surprise the Brazilian and started throwing high kicks and crosses. With just over a minute of confrontation, it was the Minas Gerais native's turn to get scared, with a high kick followed by a straight shot. Halfway through the stage, Sheetara pulled her opponent into the clinch and started throwing knees to her opponent's body. Afterwards, the Brazilian started putting pressure on her opponent on the bars. In the final minute, Mayra remained aggressive and looked for a takedown. Chiasson managed to defend himself until the bell sounded.
In the second round, the athletes began to exchange franks at the beginning of the round. Afterwards, Macy managed to get a takedown on the Brazilian and started scoring with ground na pound. From below, the Brazilian showed danger and risked an armbar. An elbow from Chiasson opened a scary cut on the Brazilian's face. After medical evaluation, the confrontation was interrupted to ensure the integrity of the miner.
