Endless provocation? Covington insists on a duel with Charles do Bronx and stirs up UFC backstage

After a period away from the octagon since defeat for Leon edwards No. UFC 296, Colby covington caused controversy again. This time the target was the Charles of the Bronx. “Charles Oliveira, I am the most important fight you can make. Former world champion, the King of Brazil, the King of Miami, Donald Trump's favorite fighter. What would be greater for your legacy than facing me?” teased Covington.

Former interim champion and three-time challenger for the welterweight belt, Colby covington currently occupies fifth place in the category ranking and is coming off a defeat to the current champion Leon edwards, in December.

Former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), Charles of the Bronx was also defeated in his last fight, against Arman Tsarukyan, at UFC 300, in April. Recently, the Brazilian showed his willingness to put on a 'super fight' at welterweight.
