The month of June came to an end last Sunday (30) and with it the first half of 2024. The first six months of the year presented MMA fans with brutal and memorable knockouts, with emphasis on the Brazilians who shone, both in UFC octagon, when in Bellator's circular cage.
With that in mind, the team at SUPER FIGHTS separated the five best knockouts of the semester in MMA.

5) Alex Poatan x Jiri Prochazka – UFC 303
In a ranking of best knockouts, Alex Poatán I couldn't stay out. The Brazilian, who was already competing with the victory over Jamahal hill in history UFC 300, even secured a place at the last event of the semester, the UFC 303.
In this ocasion, Alex Poatán achieved the second defense of the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg) with a brutal high kick with the front leg that dismounted Jiri Prochazka.
4) Manoel Manumito x Tim Wilde – Bellator Champions Series Belfast
From the octagon of UFC 303, we head to the circular cage of Bellator Champions Series Belfast. The first event of Bellator's 'new era', post-acquisition by the PFL, featured a spectacular knockout from Brazilian Manoel 'Manumito' Sousa over the Brit Tim Wilde.
A violent left cross delivered by the Brazilian to the tip of the chin made the Brit dismount and kiss the canvas.
3) Brunno Hulk x Dustin Stoltzfus – UFC Louisville
From Belfast, Northern Ireland, we returned to the United States, more precisely to the state of Kentucky, for UFC Louisville, held in June.
If the list already includes kick and punch knockouts, the time has come for the elbow. Bruno Hulk guarantee the 'bronze medal' for the Brazilian with the brutal knockout over Dustin Stoltzfus.
2- Vinicius LokDog x Bernardo Sopai – UFC Las Vegas 87
As he moves towards securing a place in the 'Revelations of the Year' ranking, Vinicius LokDog In his Ultimate debut, he achieved second place on the podium for the best knockouts of the semester.
Continuing with the versatility of the list, the gaucho knocked out fellow debutant Bernardo Sopai with a spectacular flying knee in the third round of a fight that was proving to be complicated.
1- Max Holloway x Justin Gaethje – UFC 300
Interestingly, the first place on the list is the only one that does not belong to a Brazilian, but it could not be otherwise. In dispute for the 'BMF' belt in history UFC 300, Max Holloway called Justin gaethje to the center of the octagon in a 'winn fight' and 'turned off the circuit breaker' of his rival with one of the most spectacular knockouts in the history of Ultimate.
