Experienced in fighting Benoit Saint-Denis, Dustin poirier was willing to help Renato Moicano in preparation for the duel against the French in UFC Paris, which takes place on September 28th.
The offer of help came during International Fight Week in Las Vegas, when Poirier was recovering from injuries suffered in his last fight for the UFC lightweight belt, against Islam makhachev.

Poirier, who has already shared the octagon with Saint Denis and emerged victorious by knockout in March this year, believes in Moicano's submission.
“I think he submits Benoit. His jiu-jitsu is very good. He’s strong for that weight, and big,” said Poirier in an interview with The MMA Hour.
With the fight scheduled for September, Poirier plans to travel to Florida at the end of August to help Moicano with training for a few weeks.
“I've been nursing some injuries from that last fight, but I think they'll fight in September. Probably at the end of August I can go there and help him for a few weeks”, projected the North American.
Renato Moicano is experiencing great momentum in the organization. The Brasilia native has four victories in his last five fights, coming from three consecutive triumphs in the octagon, the last of which over jalin turner No. UFC 300, in April, and has not lost since March 2022, when he was surpassed by the former champion Rafael dos Anjos in the unanimous decision of the judges.
