Jake Paul is willing to face Mike Perry in MMA after a boxing duel: 'my wrestling will make a difference'

Digital influencer expresses anxiety about debuting in a new modality; duel takes place on July 20

Scheduled to measure forces against Mike Perry on June 20th in a boxing duel, Jake Paul not only does he exude confidence for his next appearance, he also guarantees that he will be able to deal with a former UFC fighter in an MMA fight. Despite not having professional experience in the sport, the boxer guaranteed that his wrestling will be able to make a difference against the veteran. The suggestion was that it take place at an event promoted by the PFL.

“I'm willing (to fight MMA), when I win Mike Perry in boxing, to hell with it. We can do this in MMA. I want an MMA fight, I mean the smart cage (PFL) is literally right there. When I start MMA, my wrestling background will make a difference and I think I will be a very dangerous MMA fighter too. Then, Mike Perry you can take it, my hands are trisexual”, said Jake during a statement to DAZN Boxing.

Previously scheduled to face Mike Tyson, Jake had a last minute change and ended up accepting face Mike Perry after former world boxing champion had health problems. The duel is scheduled to take place on July 20, at the Amalie Arena, based in Tampa, Florida (USA). This will be the former UFC fighter's first appearance in a professional ring.
