Known for questioning the real level of Alex Poatán, Henry Cejudo still have the same doubts even after the Brazilian's gala performance in UFC 303. In the opinion of the former double champion, although the athlete is very good at standing, there are still real tests needed to complete his level in the organization's weight-for-weight ranking.

“We have to see him facing people who are a little more complete. I don't take things personally. I think, for me, it's even cooler to create a character because whether you're right or wrong, people are going to talk shit or they're going to do X, Y and Z, but these are keyboard warriors. Even if Pereira gets a little upset, man, take it seriously. Does he have nice moves? 100%. I want to see more. I want to see him against guys, against real mixed martial artists, and then we can evaluate if he is really like that, pound for pound,” Cejudo declared on the program 'Pound4Pound'.

Currently second in the weight-for-pound ranking, Poatan is only behind Islam makhachev and in front of names like Jon Jones, Sean O'Malley e Ilia Topuria. Light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), the Brazilian hopes to defend his third belt this year and will soon not rule out venturing into the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg).
