Gabriel Marretinha recovers after losing his unbeaten record and beats Ange Loosa at UFC Denver

The welterweight promise delivered a strategic performance this Saturday (13) and achieved his first career points triumph

On the main card of UFC Denver, held this Saturday (13), Gabriel Marretinha proved that the defeat in his last fight was just an accident on the road. Before the Congolese Ange Loosa, the Brazilian welterweight (up to 77,1kg) showed tactical intelligence and that he also knows how to win on points by beating his rival in a unanimous decision by the judges.

At 26 years old, Marretinha now has an MMA record of 16 wins and just one loss. Wearing the gloves of Ultimate, where he was signed in 2023, the Brazilian achieved three positive results and only one negative.

THE FIGHT

Alhassan continued to strike his rival, however, he ended up connecting irregular blows to the back of the head, which forced the referee to interrupt the confrontation. After the five minutes of recovery he was entitled to, Brundage was unable to continue the match, which forced the side judges to declare a no-contest.
