“I talked to Dana (White) today about our new date, everything is going well! 2024 for sure”, wrote McGregor, exuding confidence and calm about the rescheduling of the fight.

The fight, originally scheduled for the UFC 303, on June 29, in Las Vegas, had to be canceled due to an injury to the little toe suffered by the Irishman.

Despite the setback, the UFC organization and the fighters themselves showed great interest in keeping the fight going, recognizing the potential of such an event for the world of MMA.
With McGregor's confirmation, the expectation is now to know the new date and location of the confrontation. Dana White, president of the UFC, had already indicated that the fight could take place in September or December of this year.
