If, on the one hand, the cost of operation is extremely high, on the other, the number of fightsNight UFC' will be reduced. Dana White stated that the event will feature only ten duels on the card.
“We’re going to have ten fights. We will have the main fight, the co-main, and obviously this card will have a lot of Mexican weight,” he said.
So far, the UFC 306, renamed as 'Night UFC' has six confirmed fights, with three Brazilians in action: Michael Pereira, Norm Dumont and Ketlen 'Esquentadinha'.
According to Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani, the tendency is for bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) Sean O'Malley to defend his title against Merab Dvalishvili on the card. Furthermore, the champion Alexa grasso, protagonist of the 2023 edition, should also put the flyweight belt (up to 56,7 kg) on the line against Valentina Shevchenko or another opponent to be defined.
