"Hey guys. Once again I just received some not so good news. My fight with the Roman Kopylov. When I say that the Russians don't want to fight me, it's true. It's already the second. If they're that good at grappling, why not agree to fight me? Maybe because Shara (Magomedov) is only into stand-up fighting and Roman (Kopylov) is the same thing? A guy who only fights standing up and doesn't accept fighting me because they know what trouble I am in the grappling part and that I have knockout power. And there? What do you say?”, Hulk provoked.
Quoted in the publication, Shara Magomedov was the target of a challenge from the Brazilian after victory over Bruno Blindado, team partner Bruno Hulk.
It is not yet known if Bruno Hulk will be kept on the card UFC Las Vegas 96 with another opponent. The event on August 26th has as its main fight, initially, the duel of generations between welterweights (up to 77,1 kg) Michael Morales and Neil Magny.
