MMA star, Paddy Pimblett revealed that he faced an intense internal battle in the preparations for UFC 304, which takes place next Saturday (27). In an interview with Sky Sports, the Briton confessed that pressure and personal challenges took him to a critical point, where his mental health was put to the test.
“I said a few weeks ago that this would be the worst training camp of my life, and until a few weeks before the fight, it really was. I almost gave up fighting. I don't know when I changed that, but now I feel more confident. We need to stay positive for everything we do. Whenever negativity comes, I feel bad and I always need to talk to someone, ask for help. I'll probably talk about it as soon as I win, right in the interview in the Octagon”, admitted the fighter.

The fighter's team even considered the possibility of removing him from the fight, due to his psychological condition. However, Pimblett managed to overcome the difficulties to enter the octagon, in front of his fans, at UFC Manchester.
With five consecutive victories in the UFC, the Brit is close to reaching the lightweight rankings. The fight against Bobby Green at UFC Manchester is considered crucial to his plans for advancement in the organization. In his career, there are 21 positive results and three negative results, in addition to being in his last fight under his contract with the organization.
