After a promising start for Brazilians at the Paris Olympics, fans of combat sports can generate great expectations with upcoming commitments from Brazilian representatives. This Monday (29), it's time for the action to move forward with a day full of sports, including judo and boxing, which continue Brazil's participation in Olympic martial arts.

With that in mind, the team at SUPER FIGHTS prepared a daily agenda with all Brazilian participation in combat sports at the Paris Games. The second edition of the agenda lists the Brazilian fighters in action this Monday (29).

The first Brazilian judoka to perform this Monday (29), Daniel Cargnin makes his first appearance in Paris at 5:28 am and measures up against Akil Gjakova. Bronze medalist in Tokyo in the under-66kg category, the gaucho is preparing to debut in the 73kg category.

Back at the Olympics, Rafaela Silva is making her third appearance in the competition. After failing a doping test in Tokyo, the Brazilian appears on the mat in the women's under-57kg category. The confrontation is scheduled for 7:20 am.

It is important to remember that the Olympic judo tournaments are held on a single day. Therefore, if they advance in the competitions, Daniel Cargnin and Rafaela Silva can guarantee medals for Brazil on Monday. The finals are scheduled to take place at 12:38 pm, in the women's 57kg and at 13:09 pm in the men's 73kg.

One of the main candidates to receive a medal at the Paris Olympic Games, Beatriz Ferreira steps into the ring for the first time and performs in the under-60kg category. The first Brazilian to reach a final, in Tokyo 2021, the Bahian now seeks to avenge the result and guarantee gold after finishing with silver in the last trajectory. The clash is scheduled for 15:32 pm.

Bronze medalist in Tokyo, Abner Teixeira arrives in Paris with an eye on an unprecedented feat. Seeking to become the first fighter to win a medal in two different categories, the Brazilian will perform in the super heavyweight division (92kg), after success with 91kg in Japan. The athlete will perform at 16:20 pm against Ecuadorian Gerlon Congo Chala.
