Hired via Contender Series, Lucas Rocha, better known as a phenomenon, finally gained the opportunity to debut in the UFC. Having recovered from the injury that took him out of his first UFC invitation, the Brazilian is now preparing to face Clayton Carpenter on October 12, in Las Vegas (USA) in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg). The information was released first hand to the SUPER FIGHTS.
Protagonist of a frightening knockout in the 'Dana White sieve', Lucas impressed the organization's president in 2023, when he defeated his compatriot David Bittencourt. Previously cast to face Joshua Van, the fighter had to give up the chance due to a serious injury. Since then, the athlete had been recovering for his big debut.

At 23 years old, the fighter from Amazonas has a record of 17 wins and just one defeat in his professional career. Known for his explosion and aggressiveness, 'Fenômeno' counts 14 victims via the fast track and three in the judges' decision. The setback occurred in 2019, when he was knocked out by Alan Gabriel at Future FC.

On the other hand, Carpenter is undefeated in his career. Awarded a contract after appearing on the Contender Series in 2022, the American debuted in February of the following year and submitted his opponent in the first round. Since then, Clayton has not performed in the Octagon. The athlete is 28 years old and has seven triumphs.
