The fierce rivalry between Muhammad Mokayev e Manel kape at UFC 304, an event held this Saturday (27), took on a new unexpected chapter in the second round, when the Angolan suffered an injury to his toe and then interrupted the action to put it back in place.
The incident, which could have changed the course of the fight, did not prevent Mokaev from achieving victory by unanimous decision and getting closer to a fight for the flyweight belt (up to 56,7 kg), which belongs to Alexandre pantoja.

The intense exchange of provocations between the fighters since the beginning of the week culminated in a physical confrontation in the Octagon. However, the fight took a different turn when Kape, while attempting an attack, felt severe pain in the toe of his right foot. The Angolan crouched down and, with his hand, tried to realign the joint, causing a brief moment of tension in the octagon.
Despite the injury, Kape returned to the fight and completed three rounds. Mokaev, in turn, took advantage of the opportunity to impose his game and control the pace of the dispute. The Brit used takedowns and control from above to secure points and get the better of all three partialities.
