Last Saturday (27), Tom aspinall wasted no time to challenge Jon Jones after defending the interim heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg) quick knockout over Curtis blaydes, in the co-main fight of UFC 304. 'Bones' response didn't come immediately and much less clearly, but it happened.
In a publication on the social network 'X' (formerly Twitter) last Sunday afternoon (28), Jon Jones wrote a cryptic message, but quickly understood by followers as a response to Aspinall's victory.

“Supply and demand at its best. I love it”, wrote the linear heavyweight champion.
the answer of Jon Jones reached millions of views in a few hours and generated a reaction from fans and followers, who responded to the publication asking the champion to forget the duel against Stipe Miocic and unify the belts against Tom aspinall.
The trend, however, is that Jones will return to the octagon in November this year to defend his title against the former champion Stipe Miocic. After that, Dana White guaranteed that the winner of this duel will face Tom aspinall to unify the belts.
In a press conference after the victory over Curtis blaydes at UFC 304, the interim champion reinforced the challenge made to Jon Jones still on top of the octagon.
“Jon is the lineal champion, but I'm the best in the world, if that makes sense. I know what Jon is doing. He was there crossing his fingers and hoping I would lose to Curtis. He published it several times that I would have missed. It didn’t happen, so that’s the fight I want next,” he challenged.
