Renan Problema x Francis Ngannou is confirmed by the PFL; fight will be valid for inaugural belt

The wait is over! Renan Problem will finally carry out the dream fight against Francis Ngannou in MMA rules. In an announcement published by the PFL, it was informed that the athletes will face each other for the organization's inaugural title on October 19th. So far, the location where the long-awaited event will be held has not been announced. The fight will be held in the heavyweight category (up to 120,2kg).

Last champion of the 1 million dollar tournament promoted by the PFL, Renan was expecting to face Ngannou under MMA rules. After his last victory, the Brazilian challenged his rival, who got up and left the event, raising questions about the reason for his attitude. At 34 years old, the Goiano player has 13 wins and three defeats.

On the other hand, Francis puts on his MMA gloves again after two years away from the sport. In his last appearance in the sport, the fighter defeated Cyryl Gane No. UFC 270 for the heavyweight title.
