Riding on a streak of four straight wins, Arman Tsarukyan does not hide his ambition to compete for the lightweight belt (Up to 70,3kg.). After overcoming the former champion Charles of the Bronx No. UFC 300, the Armenian stated that he is ready to face Islam makhachev, or even fight for an interim title, if the Russian is not recovered from a hand injury.
In an interview with 'Artem Tarasov', Tsarukyan made his objective clear: to fight for the belt. The options available now are Justin gaethje, Dustin poirier and himself Charles of the Bronx, who fought evenly on points.

“My next fight will just be for the belt. So it could be an interim title if Islam doesn't have time to get his hand back. If he manages to recover in time, it will be even better for me”, declared the athlete.
The fighter's confidence is well-founded. At 27 years old, Tsarukyan is experiencing a special moment in his career. In his last ten fights in Ultimate, the wrestler was defeated only once, in a controversial decision against Mateusz gamrot.
With the triumph over Charles of the Bronx, Arman established himself as the main challenger for the lightweight belt. Currently, the Armenian occupies the first position in the category ranking, putting him on a collision course with the champion Islam makhachev.
