O UFC Las Vegas 95, held last Saturday (10), may not have caught the attention of the general Brazilian public, but it may have defined the next rival for the country's great hope among the heavyweights. Jailton Malhadinho took advantage of the great performance of Sergey Spivak, which ended Marcin tybura in the main fight of the event, to challenge his rival.
As soon as the duel ended, Malhadinho went to X (formerly Twitter) and sent the message to Spivac, who had submitted Tybura in the first round of the fight.
“Spivac, do you want someone above you in the rankings? I am here! Seventh versus eighth. I want to fight, brother! I'm glad you finished quickly. We can fight soon!”, wrote Malhadinho on the microblogging network.

Malhadinho x Spivac
Jaílton Malhadinho has a professional record of 21 wins and three defeats. The Brazilian is seventh in the heavyweight rankings and is coming off a victory over Alexander Romanov No. UFC 302, in June. He even challenged the Frenchman Cyryl Gane, second in the ranking, to face the UFC Paris, on September 28th. However, Gane preferred to refuse and will travel to Abu Dhabi to face Alexander Volkov No. UFC 308, in October.
In its turn, Sergey Spivak has a record of 17 wins and four losses. The Moldovan, who occupies eighth place in the heavyweight rankings, recovered from the setback of Cyryl Gane, in September 2023, and beat Tybura in UFC Las Vegas 95, last Saturday (10).
